Googling or Googleing?
Which one is it? Does the e get dropped?

I thought it was google, googling and googled.

By the rules of gerund (the actual name of those words that end in "-ing") formation:
If the word ends in one or more consonants, and then a single "e," you drop the "e", and add "ing." You keep the "e" only if there's more than one of them (for example: "seeing") So, "googling." |

The "e" gets dropped, so it's "googling"...just as in-- noodle --> noodling bugle --> bugling poodle --> poodling (okay, I made that last one up) |
