Sorry guys, but it's still because of the DDos attacks...Since they attack our servers, you can call it a server problem of course. But without the attacks we wouldn't have any problem!
Prolexic is doing the filtering all the time, and as the result of this filtering is what you see as unavailable or slow websites, problems with downloads in the member area, etc... I can't tell you the exact date when this will be over, but hopefully before we lose too much affiliates and users! BTW if you can't get in, send me your IP and we'll forward it to Prolexic, because probably they're blocking it! Contact info is in the sig. |

21sextury.com still loading extremely slow. It takes 5 minutes to login to the webmasters area. I wanted download some free content and download speed is 3Kb/sec. I think that you need a new host who will help you with this problem.:(

Maybe they'll stop spamming my mail box about all their new hosted galleries. I think I signed up for one of their programmes but they mail me about all the ones they own. I never signed up for expert dollars but i get constant spam from them. Not cool in my opinion. If I wanted to sign up for them I would.

Yeah guys, you are right. It's very annoying and frustrating keep getting hit by DDoS attacks. As many of you know this issue started to happen at the summer of 2007. Since then we are keep getting hit on a monthly to weekly basis. At that time we deployed Prolexic as an instant and said to be efficient solution for DDoS attacks. Many of you have suggested them if I remember well. At that time they seemed to be an efficient solution for our problems.
By today as many of you have realized they are not as efficient and as bullet-proof as they seemed to be. Unfortunately this is a learning curve what we had to experience by time via the constant attacks. Also as our host CWIE / Secured Servers has zero solution for DDoS protection, we have to fight on our own with this issue. Many of you guys are operating big server farms, so you are pretty much aware of it what it means to even consider moving a server farm of over 100boxes. (I guess the ISPs are also pretty much aware of this) On top you have zero guarantees when dealing with hosts. We have experiences with many hosting companies from the past and we are pretty much aware of the 'sales guarantees'. So what will come next? We are investing further hundreds of thousands of dollars into further equipment. The products are under order, we are expecting the shipment soon. Hopefully this will give a permanent solution. Unfortunately as we are sure that behind the DDoS attacks there are competitors, we have to deal with constant well-planned and sophisticated attacks. Yes, these attacks are more frequent and more well-planned that most of you around here might have ever seen. I can tell you this as a fact based on our discussions with fellow sponsors and their experiences on DDoS. The reason of the competitors for the attack is what they are achieving now, to harm our reputation and to make us loose affiliates. We believe that our new investments will have remarkable solution against the DDoS attacks and we also believe that we will get out of this stronger than ever. We designate 2008 to sort out our business insecurities and to massively stabilize our operation. All of you will see a stronger 21sextury Cash coming out in 2008. yeah because now the attack is on the nats servers, i'm just keep being in touch with prolexic on this issue. From some location 21sexturycash.com (and therefore the linking) works fine and from some locations it doesn't. some routing issue.

I hate to say it but I'm gonna stop promoting 21s.. now. The tours go up and down and atleast once a week they get ddos attacked which results in them being down for hours.
Very frustrating for us affiliates and I know it's very frustrating for the program owners aswell. I hope they get their problems solved because I would love to continue promoting some of their sites. |
I am sure Zoltan and 21st are doing their best to keep the sites live. They are top notch guys. Loading fine from Amsterdam ;)

Hey guys! Yes we had another attack this morning but it's over for a few hours now. The other reason was the moving of the cash sites. 21sc is now up again, FTM and Expert Dollars is on the way right now! They'll finish it soon I guess.

They are still down, but a traceroute to them reports they are using Prolexic DDoS filtering, so it must be something wrong with their server.
