10,000 Bc
 

Just saw 10,000 BC in San Diego thanks to the Reader Newspaper sending me a couple of preview tickets.

It was a bit slow but i quite liked the hairy mammoths CGI. It was obviously a fantasy film as in 10,000 BC, Saber Tooth Tigers and Wooly Mammoths had long since died out . The mixture of races from Indians to cave men seemed a little far fetched. All in all it was entertaining but i don't think its a 2008 blockbuster by a long way

damn, this was 1 of the newer movies i was really looking forward to seeing

Saw the trailer last night, looked good, but not sure i'll bother going to the cinema for it. Might just catch it on DVD...

Can not wait to see it. I missed I am Legend at the movies, and now have to wait for DVD.

I'm sure it's worth a look.

But anyone going to see this flick who is looking for historical accuracy is going to drive themself crazy with disappointment.

Yeah, just what a good movie needs, sub titles. It is a movie, you know entertainment. This is not history class.

No they did'nt even speak the queens English :thumbsup

This movie will make people's already facile understanding of history even poorer.

I think people were doing ok with that before this movie came out.

Are you kidding? Most Americans are so ignorant they couldn't even tell you if the American Civil War happened before or after the Revolutionary War. Same goes for geography and competence in mathematical concepts.

You don't have to go more than 200-300 years back or so before any language in the world wasn't understandable to any now living human...

Saw the preview. Laughed at the inaccuracies in the first three seconds, then dismissed it.
