What are your thoughs on developing a .tv domain?
 

I have a one word .tv domain. Not that I am bragging because I got it really cheap and doubt I could resell it for the same price I paid. Perhaps this will change in the future because I see more and more cable tv channels and other decently funded ventures using the extention.

I am not worried if the domain value will go up in the future. Rather I am concerned about the stability of the extentioin itself. Do you think it would be foolish to spend thousands of dollars building a brand around a .tv domain due to the fact it is based in a country where a fart could overthrow the government or does that not really matter since Verisign is involved?
