I need some help trying to jump on
this movie niche,, was wondering if any pro movie webmasters wouldn't mind taking me up under their wing if i got a few questions,, I just learned how to rip dvd movies and now trying to dabble with adobe premier and virtuadub thanks in advance |

is it normal to take 20 hours to rip a 2 hour DVD?

That's one good thing about XP, you can just drag and drop vob files from explorer...very handy.

your probably encoding it into the wrong format if it's taking 20 hrs
go read up on dvd ripping / encoding |
and yeah
it usualy takes 4 - 5 hrs my machine is 2.6ghz so it is extremely fast...but on my old 1.4ghz it took about 4 - 5 hrs so |
