it sounds like what it does is report to 'whereisporn.com' whenever anyone clicks to bookmark your site, then you get listed in one of their categories, and I guess when people (and SE's) visit 'whereisporn.com' there'll be a link to your site if you get a lot of bookmarkers

at least that's what it sounds like to me :2 cents:

don't mean to burst your bubble, but http://www.addthis.com/ has a better version of the same thing where it drops down in line... your service just adds a bookmarking site run by stile.com to it which is a good reason to never use it!

backlinxxx consolidates only bookmarking services that will accept adult links. digg, reddit, etc will not take adult links and will ban your account for doing so.

That is correct. When a surfer links a page via backlinxxx, it will not only be bookmarked on the surfer's selection, but also on whereisporn.com

from here, whereisporn.com will create a second bookmark link to your page rank your page based on how many surfers have bookmarked it.
