Going To Beijing
 

So I got abused by my airline and they gave me one free round trip ticket to anywhere in the world, im thinking of beijing.

My professor who was hired as a physical therapist for the beijing olympics and ha been flying back and forth for a few months told me you can get ipods there for $20, so im thinking of stocking up on like 20 and bringing them back. Anyone know if this is feasible?

Bring a case of Rolex watches too. Customs doesn't care.

he told me he seen a couple with two suitcases full of shit they intended to sell online boarding the plane.

its a fun mix. they think they are ripping you off big time and you are getting a good deal.

They are all fake Ipods mind you...The real ones are actually more expensive there than here.

The women are a blast tho...If you have any game at all you will do very well.

Im going to visit all the touristy spots too, but If I can't make money while I'm at it I might just go somewhere else...

I've been to Beijing last year during NYE, its was really fun! I went for a hike on the Great wall....as for shopping, all fake stuff is cheap but the rest is the same prices as here....:disgust
Have a safe trip...oh and if you have a chance, go see the pool stadium they built for the olympics..its really nice!

The thing about the Ipods is that they are clearly fake...As are the watches. I would think that it is already pretty easy to get that stuff here. Also there is a risk customs will seize stuff that is clearly a copyright violation.

You might do better with clothes as it is much harder to spot fakes. But the money you would make is not work the time IMHO.

I would just go and have a good time. If you have money you can do ANYTHING in Beijing, and in fact it's become sort of a destination for the corrupt and wealthy. If you want specifics on where to go hit me up on ICQ.

You can buy all that shit off ebay, alibaba, ect. Its crap. Their replica electronics generally have some really shitty firmware

damn that's disappointing. I was hyped on going to beijing and coming back with 10k worth of ipods :1orglaugh

but you will come back with really nice memories and a really great time :winkwink:
