Cigar experts
A friend stopped by on a layover coming back from Cuba. He left me a nice cigar.
Problem is, it is a rather large one, so I will have to wait for an opportunity to smoke it. What is the best way to store a single cigar? |
Trash can works for most smart people

a lightly ( i specify lightly) dampened paper towel. folded small in a large ziplock bag .. make sure it does not touch the cigar.. then put in the fridge .. in one of the drawers.. i mean this is not a good thing but it is better than leaving it out - or you could go to store and buy a cheap humidor :2 cents: btw ... long time no speak. When are we hanging out next? |

When you say "make sure they it does not touch the cigar" do you mean the paper towel? When is the next time you and I are both going to be in CA at the same time and not at a show? |
Oh, I see you answered my question with an edit.
I have a vacuum seal for foods. I have used it for other smokeables but seemed to be a little over the top. Would that be too much for a cigar? |
smoke it now its one cigar.

there are not humidors for single cigars. I usually keep in in a baggie rolled up in my fridge. If you like it this is a reasonable idea. http://www.cheaphumidors.com/Merchan.../HUM-TR201.gif 19.99 in case he gives you another one again.
