MONIKER.COM: WTF is this bullshit?
So I just bought a domain, initiated the transfer to my moniker.com account and the seller contacts me and says that MONIKER.COM emailed them and told to create an new account with them.
What the hell is this? Why can't they transfer the domain to my moniker account without creating their own account at moniker? Im I being unreasonable? |
Use http://www.lotosus.com next time, will be your lesson :)

"Hello, The Seller has informed us that they received an email from Moniker asking them to log on and create an account. The Seller is not required to transfer the domain to the registrar of your choice but only to give you full control at the current. Please create an account at the Seller’s registrar and then transfer to the registrar of your choice once the transaction has completed. Please contact us if you have any questions. Thank you. Ashley Cousine Escrow.com" Moniker is making it very hard for me  |

Looks like [email protected] doesnt work "Thank you for contacting Moniker's Client Support department. IMPORTANT: THIS E-MAIL BOX IS NO LONGER BEING MANNED BY MONIKER SUPPORT STAFF." |
So... they want to confirm someone's information before initiating transfer? DAMN THEM TO HELL!

i will spell it out for you because you dont seem to be too smart: - i bought a domain - i want to transfer it to my moniker.com account - i initiated the transfer from my moniker.com account area - the seller got an email from moniker asking them to create an account and log in - obviously the seller isn't too thrilled about this, so he send an email to escrow.com bitching at me - moniker.com support email bounces - all this isn't making life easier for me |
Right, so I contacted Bari and everything is solved now.
I can understand the seller though. He got an email that had a link "Click here to Authorize this Transfer Request" which took them to moniker and asked to create a new account. If I were him, i'd be pissed too. |

Not that they want to ensure it's actually that person who is trying to intiate the transfer. God damn you're as arrogant as well as ignorant. |
Just let him forward you the email from moniker, login into your account, click the confirmation link from that email. Voila - done.
|
Sounds to me like they need to reword that email.....
I was confused too - but was transferring my domains from godaddy to moniker.... |
