R.I.P. GG |
Sad. RIP and everytime I say GG anywhere I will think of him.

Man, think how much influence that guy has had. All the games (and video games) based on hit point systems, armor class, dice "rolls" and so on.

For those old enough to remember.

R.I.P.
The guy spear-headed a movement that kept me occupied for many afternoons in the 80's and early 90's. |
My first experience playing D and D was a bad one. My high school teacher was DM and we played after school. About 20 of us. I was playing a magic-user in a large group. Got hit by a measly arrow in the first few minutes and got offed. Had to sit around waiting like 2 hours for my mom to pick me up.

It's pretty crazy to imagine how big the world he created was.
my best friend in 7th grade(?) was into D&D and so was his dad. they invited me to go to some game/party thing...there were these adult computer nerds who all worked at sperry or honeywell. the dungeon master guy had built some kind of box he spoke through and it made a sort of echo thing onto his voice. way too funny!!! they were all like the guys in wargames that the kid takes the print outs to.. |
