Yes, I have done it on my own for the past few years but am now doing it through a local animal rescue. I thought I was going to have a one-eyed pitbull for a while the but the owner claimed him after only a few days.

This next one I am not sure of all the issues yet. Will post pics and info once the new pooch shows up. When you get them from a rescue organization they tend to have gone through a bit of hell from their former asshole owners.

Some local friends took in a dog that had been strangled by someone. :(
