Serious Question for MaxCash.
I'm a pretty decent sized affiliate that works with many of the popular programs. Lots of programs know me, just ask Top Bucks, Nasty Dollars, Adult.com etc etc. I'm always looking for new sites and products to promote and I came across your stuff recently.
One thing though, I see one of your reps, I'm sure I don't have to name him, but his handle is remarkably similar to my real name. In any case, he seems a little crazy and prone to making things up about people and programs. How can I be sure that this crazy affiliate manager won't have access to my personal information? What if he decides to go crazy on me next and starts spreading lies sprinkled with my personal info? Please tell me what kind of safe guards are in place for this. Thanks in advance! Daymon |
if what he told me on icq is true, he won't be making many posts anymore.
and p.s. i have your personal info and i mailed you brownies today, and a gift certificate to Arbys. :) |

Of all the shiesty shit that happened on this board today, this is what bothered you the most?
Do you really think they should fire him so you can "maybe" send traffic with your "maybe hits" (listing sponsors to show you have some). And why would you just decide to step in, make a post, and try to take someones livelyhood away in a situation you have nothing to do with. That alone speaks volumes, save us the "well i was contemplating sending traff...". When i read your post it sounds like my 14 year old trying to con his 11 yr old brother out of his allowance, next week, maybe if he gets it. This is clearly a personal attack on Damien. Not only personal, but attacking his income. |

Thats the problem with affiliate reps who were regular posters on gfy. Once they become reps for their programs they seem to forget that every post from then on not only reflects on the individual themself but to the program they represent.
I understand that everyone has their own opinon and wants to voice it but where do you draw the line between being just another gfy poster and a person who represents a business? And if that individual has a tough time distinguishing between the two then they need to either stop posting or leave their position as they arnt doing their company any favours. |

Have you any reason to think he may spread your personal info?
Can you even prove he has made anything up? - Isnt that sort of thing banned on GFY - You can do better than that Will. |

If you think I need to be banned now, you should email Lensman. |

MaxCash should take note of this thread and think long and hard before making a reply.

Will this controversial affiliate rep have access to an affiliates personal information? Yes or no? |
Quote:

Ya know - it's pretty standard that if an affiliate wants their account private, they just have to write to the program. Not sure why the obvious needs to be stated...
How many glasses did you drink lately? : ) |

I've been around awhile. A few things I've learned. Nothing is standard. This is even probably the 1st time I've ever heard of an affiliate writing and asking for their account to be private. I wasn't aware of that option. So the straight answer is, yes. Damian would have access to all the private/personal information unless the affiliate requests his or her account to be private. Should I ask you if you're high now, as if it's somehow relevant? What drugs are you on and why do you want to make this a battle? |
Battling - - you guys are pulling out all the guns, then expecting me to not defend. How quaint.
Back to our originally scheduled show....if you would like answers as to how MaxCash handles it's account access, feel free to write. I don't have near enough time in my day to babysit here. |

Lol, he's said this at least a half a dozen times over the last year, he just can't keep his mouth shut. He's not going anywhere, his mouth and stubborn ego have made it almost impossible for him to be an effective rep on this board. |

I don't think Daymon's request is that out of this world.
Someone who is unpredictable and self-admittedly bipolar... you can't trust with anything. I don't blame him one bit for this thread. |

........QUOTE] It isn't and I've worked with Daymon for a long time as well and can say this for him, he can send some traffic and sales and I want some back from him ;) |
Want to make sure I get this out there ....I did not accuse anyone of being drunk : ) My first post in this thread asked "what's in the water?" - when I asked how many glasses - I meant how many glasses of the water that is causing everyone to be so stirred up lately ! I would never question one's alcohol consumption ; ) LOL

Context, people, context ! : )

But I am damn sure he jumped on his ICQ and got you and the rest of his band of merry men to post this crap. You have even insinuated that I am somehow going to use your info to stalk you or something like that. Thats about the most stupid thing I have ever seen on this board. Damian |
