Doesn't just about every sponsor out there offer 5-10% reff money? Or are you talking 3,4,5 % of programs total sales?

Umm than I'd imagine 15% would be needed, I mean most sponsor programs offer 10% just to any affiliate, unless you have something really exclusive going live soon that you need a affiliate recruiter for. My self I am looking for a affiliate rep / affiliate manager job but I don't want it on pure referal commision.

ztik, they come in every shape, some might be worth $3 , I'd like to think I would be worth abit more to a program....

Most of them talk so much shit on who they know and what they can do. Some actually do so just roll the dice and pray.

Nobody good would help you promote anything for less than 10%

basschick 03-04-2008 12:24 AM

is this person only going to recruit the affiliates or is she/he going to also be the affiliate rep? and if that person is going to act as a rep, do you want someone knowledgeable about all facets of the adult industry or just some person you can train?

and are you looking for someone who can bring in max affiliates - in other words, someone who knows adult and who is well-known, as well?

Excellent points and this is what anyone looking to hire a rep should ask him or herself.

both, act as a rep/affiliate manager and yes, the person should have extensive knowledge about the industry but also have the ability to bring a lot of "super" affiliates, the ones who matter
