My plane landing was fucked, but still good, watch this
 

There are some strong windes in middle Europe yesterday and today. I just had one of the most fucked up landings of my life, but when seeing this:

i was on a plane that the landing gear was stuck.. that was pretty scary but they eventually got it out

I didnt see that previous thread. I forgot to check GFY before posting this thread and I forgot that GFY is the fastest news service, cause I was few days away :winkwink:

Holy crap that was close. Did their wingtips actually touch the ground? Why would they even attempt to land there in such strong crosswinds? (Did they go around and land at the same airport, or divert?)

Even after they've done the go around and they're climbing you can still see the body fishtailing from the wind... mad that they even tried...

I think I would shit my pants if I had to go through a landing like that. Crazy...

I had exactly the same thing happen once when I was flying to London once, the pilot managed to pull it up just like in the video. People were screaming and crying, one of the stewardesses looked like she was having a nervous brake down. Then the pilot came on the speaker and said he'd try to land one more time and if it wouldn't work we'd try another airport, then the guy next to me screamed "if it doesn't work we'll all be dead!" :D
Fortunately it did work. But I tell you I've never been so scared in my life, had problems with flying for a couple of years after that
