Video tour of my flat in Budapest after Remodel

Please take a look and let me know what you think.

I thinks... You need some furniture buddy! ;)

L-Pink 03-02-2008 12:47 AM

Interesting to see into living in other countries. Nice job with the remodel. You said "flat" I assume that is a condo rather than apartment?

Christina Muller 03-02-2008 12:47 AM

I bought the place in Nov 04 and paid 17,000,000.00 Forint for it and it looked NOTHING like it does now. Waited 3 years to do the remodel and save up the Cash for it. The price of the remodel as been a little less then a third of the purchase price...............In Other Words TO MUCH :2 cents:

It's a Apartment not a Condo

needlive 03-02-2008 09:01 AM

Looks pretty nice just need some stuff into it

a parrot or something

NoWhErE 03-02-2008 10:31 AM

Where abouts in Budapest is it?

I remember my flat being near the parliament and that cool little island with the racetrack around it

Gary_TLX 03-02-2008 12:38 PM

Looks pretty good. Let me know if you'll rent it for shoots. :thumbsup

Roald 03-02-2008 12:46 PM

how old is the building? I like the kind of old look it has

RedShoe 03-02-2008 01:59 PM

I've never said this out loud, but I dig RAM. Fuckin' NICE taste in flooring my friend. My neighbor does hardwood floors for a living and I've never seen a better floor than his until I saw your video.

Do yourself a favor. Get as many felt pads as you can and put them under EVERYTHING!!!! Every floor lamp, every couch, every bed, every chair... EVERYTHING!!! And take your shoes off when you go in your flat. Little tiny rocks, or just grit and shit from your shoes can fuck up a good floor in a heartbeat.

Hey if you need help remodeling.. I'll help you for the cost of a plane ticket to Budapest and some custom RAM content.:thumbsup But I gotta be back in 2 weeks.

Looks good man. Nice taste, I love the Red Wall.. but then again, I think everything looks better in RED!!!

blogman9 03-02-2008 03:37 PM

In the states a Apt is something you rent from someone else (you don't own).. If you buy it, it's considered a condo.

IllTestYourGirls 03-02-2008 04:15 PM

kick ass flat man! I love those floors! How much USD does a flat like that cost over there? It just so happens I was watching a little something about Budapest today.

I hear what you are saying because that seems the case almost everywhere in the states, but you can and people do buy apartments - Usually in bigger cities though - New York for example.

A condo is like an apartment unit, except there are sillier rules and there is a twinge of communism thrown in.

That is what 17 million forint costs today. I bought it in 04 :thumbsup

Yes and the dollar going down is money in the bank so to speak. However the housing market is feeling World Wide not just in the states.
