Trading traffic Blog <> TGP. Any experience?
 

Hello.

I run some blogs with daily traffic ~1-1.5K. ~80% of this traffic is from SE and Google images. I know that this traffic is very productive and it's prod on TGP site will be ~200-300%, so I suppose to get about 200-300 visitors for 100 visitors from my blogs.

I'm ready for such trade, but I got some questions regarding it...

How to trade? I don't want to set any skim for viewing posts from my blogs.
Any ideas? Maybe some kind of toplists or somekind of thumb blocks with skim? Do anyone have experience in this area?

Also please, post any blogs which are trading traffic.
I hope I could find any great ideas there.

why would you want to trade your SE traffic with a TGP? sending away quality traffic and getting back crap???

Not exactly. SE traffic is converting great if it comes from 1st...5th position in search pages. If SE traffic comes from 2nd, 3rd etc. pages - it converts really bad, but it's clicking ability is still great (It is my experience. :disgust ). Google images traffic also clicking like mad, but doesn't buy anything.

So, I would like to try building traffic generating blog. Probably in the future I could transform them into TGP site.

$$$ are what pays my bills, not clicks.

And id take 1k se traffic over 10k jerked any day of the week.

I trade traffic on a lot of my blogs. I use Sloth Trader and I trade only by top list, so it's clicked traffic not shitty skim.

Some of my toplists are text only some have a image & text with kinda the babe log style. It works fine for me. I treat it like a old school no skim TGP. Typically put one toplist on one of the site columns and then one at the bottom.

I don't trade with TGP's unless I know it's decant traffic, I tend to trade with my own blogs, old school top lists and the few other blogs I can find that trade traffic.

What niches do you have maybe we could trade?

- partying (group sex, drunk parties etc.)

ahh ok.. I'm mostly teen stuff on my established blogs, but I have a few lesbian and one big tits blog but they aren't really up to par for traffic trading just yet.

Well anyway if you use sloth and use it on wordpress, then put the tracking code on the actual index.php page at the root of your blog, not on the template index.php.

If you happen to use [URL="http://www.cheapestadultscripts.com/affiliates/click.php?ref=crockett&page=http://bo.cheapestwebsoftware.com/"]Blogs Organizer[/URL] Then you will need to rename your actual blog index.php to something else. Then make a new index.php and add the includes like this..

include ('sloth_in.php');
include('blog.php');
?>

So you would just rename the actual BO index file and then use the inclue to have it show up on the actual new index.php file.

I've already tried to promote hi-def, but failed. I've send about ~5K to their paysites (recurring program), but no results.

Btw, crockett, please could you leave me your icq number or s/th to contact you. I have 2 great teen blogs ready to start, but I don't really know how to make a good and fast start in teens niche. Probably you could gimme some recommendations or s/th... :thumbsup

I agree, I wouldn't send away any SE traffic even if it's from a splosh - blog mat. On the other hand blog traffic is just slightly better then TGP unless it's targeted. To the poster if you are going to build your own network of blogs then a TGP anyways why not keep it your own traffic?

Best way to use SE traffic for trading is to just put links to your trades without skim of thumbs.
