How did it feel? When you had your first sale in the adult biz ..

Omg Porn Money!!

Adult check. 19 years old. Couldn't believe it. Within a week I was making at least $100 a day and didn't know what the hell I was doing. Felt like heaven. I still have the check stub.

I used to see the term "adult webmaster" and wonder who the fuck really cared whether the webmaster was an adult or not? lol

A little under three years ago, it was sort of instant gratification because my first sale was about 2-3 days after my first adult blog went up. It was a PPS webcam sale, from cams.com before I learned about all the Zango drama and the pure stupidity of doing PPS for webcams. But it was $105, I think, or whatever the exact amount of that promo was.

I still not made any money yet... still working on it ;)

i remember it as if it was yesterday...
the moment I even remember more was the first time I went to the ATM, took out my epass card and took out cash, real hard cash for some naught 1's and 0's ;-)

Like most people states, shock that someone would buy porn. Still here today as a result.

Anyway, I think my first SALES were with cybererotica, no idea when though. I think I have like 85$ or something in my CE account which I've been unable to get. :D

Big sigh of relief haha. It took me about 4 or 5 months.

I knew if I made 1, that I could make 100, 200, 1000's. Possibilties are endless.

First sale was with nasty dollars.

It was awesome. It was on my first celebrity membership site back in late 90's.

I had just converted from a site that was free, and was costing me $700-1000 a month in BW charges, over to a membership site. In no time, it was paying for it's self.

Our first was with AdultCheck - and in all honesty I wasn't overly excited or surprised. I had no expectations either way...we simply started it as a hobby for kicks.

However, we WERE somewhat surprised and pleased at the subsequent momentum when sales really started to pour in rather quickly not long after we launched.

First one was in 2002/2003 with Adult Players Club

My first BIG check was actually from non-adult, from Google adsense, for about $5,700 or so. I was making only about $100 am month before that from adsense, then my traffic went through the roof.

Actually I was involved in adult video sales before the web even existed. Therefore when I DID make my first 'Online' sale, it wast a 'big deal'

It was just another check from a 'new source'... It was probably for a video pack that had been 'ordered' online, as opposed to a direct affiliate type thing...

My entire introduction to online was simply a natural progression to what I had allready been doing for years... So I cant really remember the date or how much it was for...

I was actually annoyed as I only made like 83c and I thought they had ripped me off somehow, so I got on to the icq to Lisa, guns blazing and such and she calmed me down and said it was a trial, (I had no idea about trials) and that it was likely to convert. It did convert and i think rebilled months and months later :)

next month 300 and then i figured it out, next one was little over 10k ( payed per click )

Damn that was a long time ago! I was on a free host Porn City Way back in the day! I was sending to pay per click program! 6 cents a click.

I dont know what the first sale was because it was pay per click but my first check was for 400$ and I was still in the Military at the time building galleries in my spare time and on my laptop from the bustle rack of an M1A2 Abrams Tank. I was doing what I loved to do in the military and I was fuckin around on the internet and doubling my monthly income in a few short months!


I took my platoon Sgt with me to my first Internext! We took leave at the same time and went to Vegas! I made my first Business Partnership standing in line at the Studio 54 party and we opened the first instant download content company LPZip


But getting back to that first Check I was absolutly amazed that I was able to get checks from something that really didnt exist outside of the computer there was nothing physical except the check that came in the mail.

They got bigger and bigger! Loved it. And shortly I had everyone in my unit wanting me to show them how to do it. Including my company commander ( I was his Tank and HumVee driver at one point )

It was about 10 years ago now, and I don't remember that exact moment anymore.

I remember I was very surprised when I got my first sale, never thought people would actually pay for memberships :-p
