Are Either Of These SiteMap Generators Good?
 

Hey everyone, I want to make a sitemap for one of my sites but I'm not exactly sure how to do it? I was just wondering if either of these sitemap generators are any good? If not could you maybe suggest one that is? I just want to submit one to google and see what happens?

My guess is neither of these are good but I'm really not sure, I've never made one before.

I use this one and it does what it says and I haven't had any issues.

If you dont want to buy one I have used this one. It will do up to 500 entries and also allows you to edit them

just curious you said "allows you to edit" ... what would i want to edit on it?

sitemap scripts are dangerous and hackers use to them their advantage.....

if you automate it and overtime you may put files in wierd places or perhaps a config file gets saved as .php.1 or something, never know and because that aint filtered, it will get picked up... anyone can download your sitemap and view everything in your subdirectories then

another story is this, i had changed my site that had many very nice top keywords, im talking like "anal" "ass" you name it, i had first page google,
i made a backup of my old files called page-css.html just incase the new style didnt work so swell, well i forgot about them and so i had page.html
and page-css.html picked up by the spider because it got in my sitemap
script and google shitcanned all those pages because of dupe content i guess, and took like 6 months and alot of tedious work to get my pages reindexed :/
