Is there a problem with CCBill billing?

Last 2 days I send the same amount of traffic to CCbill sponsors but ratios are very low.

gandalfuy 02-27-2008 08:59 PM

i dont think so

amateurcanada 02-27-2008 09:26 PM

Sales this year are not consistent with the past in my opinion.

tabasco 02-27-2008 09:36 PM

The last 3 days across most of my sponsers has been brutal.

Tanker 02-27-2008 09:40 PM

my CCbill sales are not out of the ordinary

ProjectNaked 02-28-2008 01:05 AM

it's like a rollercoaster - there is no explination you will ever hear in your lifetime

unless you want me to tell you they change every time a butterfly flaps its wings :2 cents:

Our ccbill stats are rocking, better now then ever before

Sosa 02-28-2008 10:09 AM

I've had sales and rebills come through just fine

notoldschool 02-28-2008 10:10 AM

the past few days have been brutal acroos the board.

Rednax 02-28-2008 11:41 AM

Very bad ccbill ratios myself the past 2-3 days

I often wonder if the level of scrubbing varies depending on the affiliate, site, referring source, time of day, time of month, and current chargeback ratio. It seems as if when I do get sales from certain CCbill programs it is either at least two or more per day or nothing. Never just a single one. Conversions will be 1:150 on a few days. 1:3,000+ on others. Seldom do I see 1:1000 conversions days. Either one extreme or another.

I doubt ccbill is shaving ( lol, come on ), but a complex formula for scrubbing would not surprise me. I noticed after having my first refund that conversions took a huge hit for a while....

It'd be nice to get the inside scope on it, but I seriously doubt they would be able to release such info.

ccbill sales aren't keeping up with other processors the last few weeks ... same traffic, similar sites ... ccbill way down ... i suspect something is up, but have no idea what.

signupdamnit 02-28-2008 12:21 PM

Btw. My CCbill ratios across the board:

Feb 2008: 1:2971 (raw) :disgust
Jan 2008: 1:659
Dec 2007: 1:905

2007: 1:1,288

Refund in question occurred Feb. 1. May be a coincidence.

Anyone else mind sharing and comparing notes on ratios?

I notice the same thing. Seems like there's little 2 or 3 day periods where you just can't buy a sale to a CCBill processed site. Then 8 sales in 12 hours or so then nada again. Sometimes I'll get 3 or 4 sales come in in the space of 10 minutes or so. I wonder if there is some delayed batch processing or something.

if any ccbill client is seeing anything strange going on with ccbill or wants our analysis department to evaluate the stats we are seeing on our end and get a report back to you, please email me at [email protected]. thanks

Funny how everyone always worries about their CCBill conversions. What about Nats? At least I manage to make some sales with CCBill. But with Nats... I've yet to make a sale. You should see the horrible stats I have with them. I'm talking 0:4000+ with a few Nats sponsors. Does anyone know if CCBill converts foreign countries such as Western Europe and some other Western countries better than Nats?

No offence Mark, but in 6 years the ONLY reply I ever got was: "We're investigating the matter" and "all systems are working at peak efficiency".

None taken, but i think you will see we have changed things up a bit...tell you what we do

We look at what we can, if you run an affiliate system, we compare total clicks/sales to get those conversion numbers to see if any strange changes have happened and troubleshoot them

On the signup form end of it, we look at your form hits for the past few months, submissions, declines, and we see what has changed that may have affected signups... in most cases we are just not seeing as many hits to the form as before, but in other cases it was something with the submissions going down...but i will assure you we will look at whatever we can under our control

Agreed. I don't touch Nats/MPA Stuff at all. I've never been able to sell it at anywhere close to the ratios I see at CCBill/Verotel etc.
