How long do we talk before we act

"Ya just gotta stick with it and "talk extensively" before committing to action."

The quote above is from Webby. We have talked for 11 years with the Iraqi government, and the UN, in an effort to get Iraq to abide by the agreements made after their military forces were defeated on the field of battle. How much longer do you suggest we talk before we act? I might point out that during that period of time Sadams people has attempted to assassinate an American President, has fired hundreds of times on coalition aircraft in the no fly zones, has repeatedly called for Americans to be killed where ever they are found, has funded suicide bombers in Israel etc. So I repeat, how long do we talk before we act?

probably within the next 6-8 weeks, Israel is already getting ready.

I wish Bush would just bomb them already. I could care less whether its ethical or moral or whatever, I'm just tired of hearing about this subject everyday.

we first need to move equipment/supplies, then troops. Its basically a matter of logistics, getting the neccessary elements in place. My friend in the airforce leaves for Turkey Nov 1st so maybe around then.

Just before election time?

Great. Lets get more republicans elected.

What team are you people on again?

Lexxx 10-07-2002 11:00 PM

Nothing will be done until December... early January is a likely target. I have sources.

Some "Merry Christmas" bombs would make for good press

We have been moving equipment/supplies and troops into place for the past couple of months. The rest of the elements will be put into place very rapidly just before we attack.

I don't think Bush will get re-elected.

In a two party system there is plenty of people that arent desireable. On the right you got the religious freaks.

On the left you got filth like barbara streisand, Cher, Rosie, PETA, commies, hippies, race baiters like jesse jackson, etc.

I am a conservative, and I feel very strongly that liberal socialistic politcs just dosen't work.

A conservative is the right, but there is far right, and moderate right.

you answered your own question

apparently we have to talk for 11 years before we act. :(
we talked with the Taliban for 4 years to get them to turn over
Osama Bin Laden.

too bad they didnt cut that conversation down to about 15 minutes which would have given them 14 minutes to clean up the
blood and bodies.

i dont think it matters really. the US position was always clear on the issue of Saddam Hussein. it has been the International community that has been soft and the UN Security Council which has done nothing except starve Iraqis and empower Saddam Hussein while he told them to fuck off every step of the way.

If you're saying that Democrats are a "left wing" then you're wrong. They're just not as extremely right wing as Republicans.

The democrats in this country could hardly be labeled "leftist".

Exactly. They aren't leftist at all. They're just less extreme right leaning than Republicans.
