Hi, I'm sure that by now you have heard of the new Visa regulations about to come in to affect in the adult industry. Here is some information you may or may not know. The world is divided in to 6 banking regions. U.S.A. is the region affected by Visa's cash grab. There are several other processors out there who are not affected by the Visa cash grab.

Also, VEROTEL has announced they will have a solution to switch over your REBILL database!

The three major processors (CCBill, IBill, and Epoch) are all affected by the Visa cash grab. The people running these companies are not stupid, they know they stand to loose a lot of business because of this situation. I suspect all three companies affected by this are scrambling right now trying to implement a working solution. After all they don't want to loose their webmaster base.

I personally contacted CCBill to see what plans they have to get around Visa's cash grab. This is a direct response from Andy Kiefer at CCBill.

"Are we thinking about establishing a presence in any other regions? The answer is yes, we are trying to establish relationships with acquiring banks in several of the other regions, but we are not sure yet how successful we will be with that. We will let you know when we have a more definitive answer on that. Thanks Andy "

I hope the above information helps you and you business.

Very helpful of them to send that. More informative than the IPSPs have been this week. Sounds pretty accurate, too.

Yep.. I asked them who the fuck they were and just where and when I opted in for their shit.. No response yet.

From the response, I guess that it's GFY spam.

Cheers,
Backov

They have known about this for months, and they are only now trying to get merchant accounts setup in other countries? They're not really on top of this if you ask me.

Even PSW Billing has merchant banks in a few countries, I would have hoped that CCBill had its shit together better. I guess not.

If it was a VISA international rule, then all of VISAs regions would be affected and it is. and with the bulk market of the industry, with the most to lose, they make this decision?

visa made those rules to prokove some changes that they want done. they are not reasonable, they dont care about adult. they can take it or leave it. you think visa respects the adult industry?

Suits in the biggest banking centers of the world, out of all their whole portfolio of businesses, you think that they respect the black sheep? if you screw with them, all it takes is a slight whisper to the acquirering banks and the account is dead

ask sombody that blew up their merchant account or was with DRM when they imploded. a friend had 25K in monthly rebills vanish

like that

you dont screw with visa

in recent times, with the new rules coming out, a lot of desperate decsions had to be made, try to think past what you want to hear
