Has anyone ever advertised on The Hun?
 

I'm looking to advertise on The Hun -- looking for feedback from those who have.

What kinda #'s did you have -- what were conversions like etc.

I usually get about 200+ signups everytime I get a gallery posted.

If I were you, I would spend more on getting more content in your site.

You can buy a spot on the hun and you might get 15-25 sales from it, but its not gonna mean much if they cancel right away because you don't have enough content inside your members area to keep them around.

also, I would drop the 7 day trial on your site.

I buy a #1 spot just about every week. I usually get 1 or 2 sales each time. Once I got 4 actually, but that was like a year ago when times were good.

DH only 200 ? I usally pull around 400 or so a day.

I got 3 beemiers from his traffic this week!

Bullshit!!! No one can get 400 signups from one hun listing!! I have a hard enough fucking time getting 200 signups from 1 listing!

If you are going to buy some text links, Make sure you use movies. ..... Long movies. They convert the best on the spots 2 - 10

Buying advertising on thehun is the best thing I have done yet. I am a regular paid gallery poster and also buy banner spots. Both are great... and as for #1 listings... I wouldnt recommend it. I have much experience buying #1, #2-5 and #6-15 spots there. My favorite are 6-15 spots. They produce almost or equal as many signups as the 2-5 spots. There are 2 reasons I would rather have the lower spots than be in the #1 spot:

a/ #1 spot is "cold traffic". -- These visitors arent stupid, they know how much other shit is free below and even if you have something they really really like, they are likely to click "back" and move on before making a final decision. (forgetting what you had on your gallery)

b/ way more bandwidth than the lower spots.

..... See, the surfers in the 2-15 spots have been looking at stuff for a few minutes now and are starting to send blood into their penises now. This is what I call "warm traffic". They are more likely to settle at this point.

Oh... and just wait until you have regular paid listings on thehun and they start going into the archives. Thats when you will see the "hottest traffic" there is.

These "hot" visitors have looked and looked for something and if that deep they are still checking out your shit, you know you have their undivided attn.

Thehun has the most "potent" traffic I have seen from a TGP.

hmm.. i dunno but if hes really putting up 30 listings/month I wouldnt be announcing that on a message board.

I had had many a hun listing but I have never had listing #1 so I could'nt judge how it would sell compared to #6-15.
