I get maybe 60 checks a month from various programs. It seems like EVERY month now at least someone bounces a check.

Most re-issue a new one. BUt what a hastle. Some dont even bother contacting me to re-issue.

These are people who spend money at shows, adspace on GFY, and $$ on God knows what.

But when those checks bounce it leaves a bad taste or opinion of you.

Get your shit in order people.

And at least pay an extra $20.00 out of a courtsey for the returned check fee. I shouldnt have to ask.


And for those of you who dont even bother to re-issue a check without me contacting you, either you are fucking retarded and shouldnt be in Biz, or you cant be trusted.


People who notice a decrease in traffic from me this month, dont blame the tube sites.. IT becasue you just got blacklisted.

Too many other GOOD programs out there to promote. I dont care what kind of "history" we have anymore or how much fun at shows we've had.

Some of you scumb bags will probably stop paying me my rebills becasue you dont see any new traffic coming in.

One of the only reasons Ive been tolerating the bounced checks is because of the rebills. IF it wernt for them Id have dropped you long time ago.

But enough is enough. Rebills or no rebills, fucking annoying.

yep , that's a fucking pain in the ass, sponsors tend to forget that they are in bizness because we promote them ... sometimes we should go on strike like the WGA, just to show them that we need some respect.:pimp

The checks varry in all diff amounts too. Im not sure whats more annoying.

The check that is $1000.00 range or the check that is in the $50.00 range with the $29.00 bounced check fee.

Am I the only one that is dealing with this this frequently?

They know who they are. And I know tons of people promote them. They are popular programs. Im certain its not just my checks im getting that are bouncing.

60 programs? No offense, but when you're doing business with a lot of players instead of sticking to the companies with the names and presence and proven track records, what do you THINK will happen? :1orglaugh

Ive only bounced a check once ever in my life. Well twice. Once intentional.

Once was to BradShaw back in 2001. He pissed me off cause I had to buy content to replace a promo girl for amateur beaver. I couldnt use her for my theme on my site casue I promoted other programs. He was right but I was pissed and bounced the check to em.

I later made good and re-sent.

But other than that ive never bounced a check that related to my biz. Other than to him. I think he still has that check. :)

It doesn't happen to me monthly but at least once every other month.
I can only recall one sponsor that has contacted me to re-issue. All the other times, I've had to contact them.

HAve you seen my sites? I have HUNDREDS of niches. I have to promote at least 60 programs just to get the selection needed to fuel my sites.

Of course I have a core top 5 companies I like to work with.

But yeah I have to work with a bunch of people.


As for companies with name presence youd be suprised who bounces the checks. These arent mom and pop stores.

With that said, Ive been noticing a lot of programs with rebills just dropping of the planet. Not normal slow drops but massive drops. Shaves.

Think im stupid? Ive given them enough time to "come back" and its obvious what is happening.

Ive been asleep at the wheel too long. Running shit on auto pilot.

There are too many programs out there now days to just keep promoting the same old shit and be taken advantage of.

In the next few months Im going to be trying out a lot of new programs. Ive started already.

2008 is the year of the Rat for the Half Chineese in me. I think im going to embrace it.

If I heard those things ID be pissed. Lucky for me I dont get these replies. But ive seen them on boards when less known people complain.

I've had a couple programs bounce checks to me lately. Some big ones as well. Having a tough time getting a hold of them too.

IM looking for some guys to run some of my smaller tgps and grow them. Manage the traffic.

They have some history in doing this or are the totally new?

Ive tried hiring some guys and teaching them how to use ATX, UCJ and how to run a tgp..

The sites didnt exactly grow.

So far so good for me and checks, have never had one bounce.

I have had to call out a few companies about issuing my payments tho.

Never bounced a check here - but had a few returned as some affiliates live in some crazy countries and the banks simply reject certain checks. Easy fix with money orders etc.

In partial defense of programs, especially larger ones, its no doubt that expenses are very high and sometimes (even myself) we can negative an account out pretty quickly if your doing a barrage of shoots all over the place with intense fees.

Just a check bounce at the end of last week. Hopefully the replacement shows up soon.. Glad my bank doesn't charge for returned checks.

I mentioned this some months ago why do people not post names of who bounced a check on them?

Until the industry understands that this is a real business and people involved need solid check payments this will continue.

The first bouncing one I get you will see thier name in FULL here.

Everyone step up and name the names,if someone starts the rest will follow and soon any shady sponsor will be revealed.:)

Dont worry if you piss a few off its a big industry and Im sure no one will hold it against you for speaking the facts.

I think people don't always rush to name names here because accidents DO happen and they're trying to show some class and understanding and give companies the benefit of the doubt at first. Why go public with every incident? Who does that? Makes more sense to give the company a chance to make it right behind the scenes. If it's an ongoing problem, THEN I could see someone warning others away from that company.

you can all hold me to this . "If I EVER was to accidentally bounce a check for what ever retarded but absurd reason .. I will personally FedEX replacement PLUS all fees incurred because of said error .." we have our banking set up in such a way that this couldn't ever happen to an affiliate .. but if say the bank was to explode and burn to the ground .. I would very happily make things all better as fast as humanly possibly ..I would be pissed as well ... cheer up ..maybe you should have been pushing TCC :)

Even if its a mistake so what you name the name and they respond with hey its a mistake,but lets be honest for once and help each other,we all know what the so called mistakes in this business amount to and its about 50 times higher than any other industry.Lets get real.

Why the mistakes? because what sponsor is going to say we didnt have the money when we wrote a check.

Im sorry but I have seen many huge companies write checks for massive amounts for many years without problem,99.9 percent of probelms = money not in the bank to cover the check simple!

What you also have to understand is for example my bank cash checks instantly from the usa on good faith with the rule the day one bounces that benefit will end.

Its CRIMINAL and can cause big problems so it should be taken very serious instead of ... we made a mistake sorry I will send you another...and you go ok thanks

I think anyone could call someone out for bouncing a check.

And if the companies involved aren't _offering_ to cover any fees incurred from something that was _their_ fault... I do wish names would be mentioned, as I need to keep in mind who to avoid doing business with.
