I wouldn't get involved in anything illegal to bring down a site which is - as you point out - illegal but by the standards of most immoral. I understand the vigilante mentality and I understand the strength of your convictions. You are probably better off trying to write local politicians to affect some sort of legal change. If you can't do that then I think it is just something you will have to live with.

AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - A Dutch court has banned a Web site sympathetic to pedophiles from showing photographs of child members of the royal family, including the three-year-old heiress to the throne Princess Amalia.

Last week the Dutch government said it would seek a court injunction after pictures of Amalia and her cousins Lucas and Anna appeared on the Web site of the Dutch pedophile association Martijn.

The court said on Thursday the Web site was violating the princess's privacy and the right to control how pictures of her were used.

"Our royal family has produced a whole new generation of princes and princesses. How fortunate!" a caption had read on the site that promotes more social acceptance of pedophilia.

The pictures, including an official portrait of Amalia in a summer dress, were removed from the Web site after the government statement on Friday.

However, the association argued it was not responsible for the content placed on members' forums and it could not prevent members from uploading photos. It could only remove the photos afterwards.

The court ruled Martijn had to take precautionary measures to prevent pictures of young royals appearing on the Web site in the future.

A government spokesman said on Thursday that following the ruling, other parents could take on the Web site and force it to remove pictures of their children.

Possession and distribution of child pornography is illegal in the Netherlands and the Dutch government is also preparing laws to outlaw watching child porn on websites without downloading pictures.

Last year, members of the Martijn group set up a political party to campaign for a cut in the age of consent from 16 to 12, and the legalization of child pornography. The party failed to get enough support to run in the national election.

Amalia is the eldest daughter of Crown Prince Willem-Alexander and is second in the line to the throne after her father.

If you do what you want to do they can and will sue you and also posting on a public forum that youre gonna be involved in illegal activities is as stupid as it can get.

No matter how you do it, records will show that all these people visited this site if you send them there, and that's not cool because not only are you sending them somewhere they probably would never go, you're doing it against their will.

This is a good point, however I would believe they would understand if they would learn about the cause that will actually help to get such sites off the internet. You could place a small banner like the ASACP banner to tell surfers what is going on.

And I do not believe it is illegal, as for now just an idea is discussed about taking action to get a website down that contributes to child porn world wide.

You can't use 'I believe they would understand.' because you don't know if they would.

You can fight your little crusades on your own, I leave that stuff up to law enforcement that specializes in dealing with it. If I find anything questionable I go to Cybertip.ca and that is where my role in fixing the problem is finished.

Right, I don't. I understand that surfers do not want to be linked with CP and that my idea is not going to work. However, there may be other solutions and I really do not understand the replies on this forum.

I remember these kind of discussions on the forums (GFY and others) in the past, and the replies were totally difrent then. Webmasters were actually all getting together to work on it and in that time the ASACP was founded aswell, then named Adult Sites Against Child Porn.

It seems a lot has changed since then.

I think you presented a poor solution to the problem. These people are really sick I am sure and I doubt anyone here would disagree. Asking people to break the law is a really bad start. No matter how strongly you feel about the issue.
