I ran to about 3 or 4 major tube video sites and all I can say is holy shit...
the fuckers are getting bigger, bolder and even higher in quality.

But gawd damn these tube sites are very numerous and I know alot of you have experience been around a longtime and maybe think the same?

The decline of the industry is seriously underway I believe, its been going that way since it started true but whats goin on for free now is certainly making it even more hopeless.

I made a small tube site, kinda an experiment really but the bandwidth was to much and my clips were only like 2-3 minutes long tops.
I sent some traffic but could not beat the overhead. Bandwidth is cheap sure but I would not say the effort was worth it. Maybe I did it wrong and even if I did it right the point where other tube sites are going I could not keep rolling out bandwidth quality and the pure amount of video playback.

The quality of Tube sites is great, the video quality is great.

Some say Evolve or die but I really am beginning to think there is no evolution out of this other than more Solo based sites, exclusive based sites.

I was kinda confident at first but now that I tried it and kinda see how the animal works the only bet is to Steal content to cut costs...

A large number of the illegal tubesites out there are owned by PROGRAMS and BIG DOG AFFILIATES. It's doing a great job of strangling out the frycook webmasters, and the people who are jumping in and halfassing it to make a few sales a month. Nobody's taking much a real stance on it, because it's doing EXACTLY what they want it to do. Making it impossible for the large number of small competitors to survive. All the old bros have been whining and bitching about how it's not like it was ten years ago ever since ten years ago. More qand more competition joining in the race every day is making it harder andharder for them to make the huge paychecks they once made. They're still making decent money at the moment though, so why not go out of their way to strangle out the competition and make starting a small online porn venture from scratch impossible? They are able to afford these massive money sucking projects, because it is eliminating the competition and bringing the traffic. back to themselves, It is an investment to try and save their own asses. End of story.

Seems this whole subject is a dead horse really, I seen plenty about the tube sites and what other guys think. So I guess this is mine.

However I did try a tube site of my own and it just ate shit.
Sheer volume and quality the others are pulling off is just to much.

The tinfoil hat bit is funny but it does not make sense bro.
They can have all the traffic but if shit's already free on the tube sites they wont make a dime.

And even if it's not on the tube sites and exclusive the threshold to make a subscription based purchase is seriously not going to hold much weight just due to the fact that there is killer shit already on the tube sites.

I am talkin about serious reduced interests in subscriptions. I am willing to bet over the next several months Program owners are going to get pretty nervous about declining sales far more drastic than whats happened over the past 3 years alone.

oh yes adult sites make money ..... and for tube sites, well ways of conducting business has changed....this is the next step to another level.....very exciting!

It makes sense in an unlikely paranoid way. These guys have enough traffic and money they can afford to eat shitty conversions and milk the bandwidth for a while. After all, most of them are still making a good portion back on cams and dating. More and more of these large illegals tubes are coming to light that they are owned by programs and long time affiliates. Why would these guys contribute to something which is hurting the industry if they didn't have reason behind it?

As frycooks and parttimers can't afford to waste hours and hours trying to generate traffic to their own upstarts they will start dropping like flies. Even guys who have been around for a while might find themselves no longer making ends meet on their projects alone. In the end the only people who survive are the bigtimers.

Clean up your tubes at this point, and what do the surfers have for options? Continue on with the tubes and the surviving tgps/blogs which are still running under the ownership of the upper half.
