thats nuts, i just played SF2 arcade game in my friends basement a month or so ago, thats one of the best arcade games ever.

I defintely liked the old ones. I still have SF2 for Super Nintendo. Not sure if I'm crazy about the new one, but a great franchise.

Same here and yep the real deal. Looks like arcade release was announced so get those quarters out :) My first experience with SF was the first one, the one with pressure sensitive buttons, for fierce you'd have to smack the button really hard :1orglaugh

Trailer seems very exciting. I remember the arcade game with those black spheres as commands. Never been a fan of it. "Phoenix" was my favourite.

We played Street Fighter for years........until Tekken came out. After that, Street Fighter didn't stand a chance in our crew.

yeah i cant wait. been playing SF anniversary edition on my 360 for awhile now. 2-d fighters rule, glad they made it 3-d but still with the 2-d side scrolling style.

Was never a big Street fighter 2 fan !

I miss those long nights i've spent with Chun Li....

I like how they've updated the graphics, but still kept that cartoonish, from the side action. No crazy 3d camera flying all over the place. That's why I can't get into todays fighting games.

I remember being able to fuck up some people with Chun Li's lightning kick.

What's cool about this is they are saying it's going to have a multiplayer feature like XboX 360 Online with Rankings so you can challenge people, a quick 10 min break for a fight then go back to work (or not)!

wow thats the best they could think of for the new gen consoles, exactly the same graphics and 2d gameplay only in 3d with outdated cel shading technique.... looks far from promising

what I miss about the old school games are the new ones are all "combo" huge combination hits etc, what happened to the good old sweep kick and punch? I remember playing Killer Instinct and was amazed at the "18 hit" combos

I am waiting to see Street Fighter vs Mortal Kombat. Developers on both sides say they want to see it in the future. There is just corporate licensing crap to deal with.

marvel vs. capcom was pretty badass with all the combos and air combos though

Street Fighter IV looks pretty good. I still think Street Fighter Alpha 3 was by far the best in the series. Evil Ryu FTW.
