    GFY Censorship, Why?

    Dear Admin,

    Why do you delete posts that you deem a threat to the popularity of GFY? There was just a thread about a new board, but no URL's were mentioned. You didn't even close it, or post a warning, or reason. You just deleted it.

    Is that really necessary?

    Are you really that intimidated by a small little board with a few hundred posts on it?

    There were no links, and the board wasn't even named. A bit rough if you ask me.

      Hehehe yea that was my thread ,I dunno what happened thats the first thread I have had vanish ......I didnt post the url and thought it was a good topic ..guess I have a lot to learn

              The actual rule doesn't say anything about a url. It says:

              "1. No spamming other boards! We don't spam other boards about GFY. We need the same courtesy!"

              I'm thinking, a thread dedicated to the release of a new board could be considered "spamming."

                                  I didnt give a url or link how can you spam without giving any links,I didnt even give the name of a board,and just for your info I actually worked for gfys parent company at the LA show,so my prime interest is of course to them and I promote and protect thier interests as much as possible (hell if they give me checks I have too).

                                  The thread was based on features and new ideas but if they want to take it any other way so be it !

                                                              I saw a board launched today with features such as instant messages/rating system etc ,should gfy update itself with some slicker features like that to move with the times

                                                              No drama ! just simply questions

No matter how big or small. I'm a greedy bastard when it comes to my traffic, and I see those posts as traffic leaks.
