Hello all, can someone give me some advice or pointers as to how to start a successful forum board. I am starting one for our site Adrotations, which I currently have it installed located at adrotations.com/forum/ if someone wishes to check it out. I know how the program works and how to configure it, so what I need to find out is to how I bring users to it..

I wrote a small guide about starting a surfer forum. Try to find it. -
This is geared towards webmasters (marketing and advertising) I'm figuring if I build it they will come.
- I'm currently configuring it right now and should have it done by later today. Our advertising will cross over to it also. It's hard to get any new forum active I gather, I guess in due time it will become just that I hope. 
If you can point me in the direction of your information you wrote I would check it out.

Gotcha, I fixed it.. The one main rule I forgot..
Anyway I guess I have to start paying for writers to submit right? How much is the average going rate to pay people to submit to a forum? and whats the best way to go about doing that? and what things can I do myself?

I was a dramma whore for GFY before (luclonely) .you can pay me 100$/day and I will create 20 nicks, start all the bullshit dramma to draw attentions.
All you need to do is getting traffic, so the surfers (webmasters) will come to your site and STAY .
After a month or so you don't have to hire me anymore because you should have enough surfers by that time .

Yeha, my forum is not going to be like GFY. I don't want people starting trouble in it, If I'm going to pay for people to submit to it, my budget doesn't allow for $100 a day either. Also I would want actual topics posted not BS.

I don't need it. The system I have is free and has just as many features as VB. Plus Cirtex hosting offers it as an install right from the cpanel so it was what I wanted to go with. I actually have a license for VB but wanted to use what was offered through my hosting company.
