it could very well be they are asian or hispanic or white or even black

the difference is the word is used as a personal insult as in "you are a jerk" , not " you remind me of a black person"

the word niggr has been turned mainstream , mostly because of rap music.

Can it be used to insult a black person ? sure , but i havent heard it used in that fashion very often, most of the time its used by black people as a greeting or by white people as a broad insult that has nothing to do with the color of the persons skin.

try to think about it in reverse. they were put in a situation where they were the "oddman" out.

Thats how any group acts when they are the oddman out, i'm not saying they have the right to steal and rob, but if you are outnumbered you usually band together strongly, alot of black people have experienced real racism or had family members that have, it's obviously going to make you jaded and constantly feel the need to fight for your fairness.

for example , if there is 10 kids , 4 black 6 white , and theyh ave to split 2 pizza's , they might demand half the pizza, because in the past when they kept their mouth shut , they only got 1 piece of pizza. meanwhile the white kids may not be racist at all , and they are confused as why they dont get a fair share of the pizza. thats where the problem starts .. the racism is now perpetuated..
