Barack Obama Donors Tied To Terror Conspiracy?
 

Illinois Review has a post that is sure to grab the attention of Hillary Clinton?s opposition researchers.

Illinois Review asks could some donors to Barack Obama?s campaign be the same guys who are awaiting trial for a terrorist conspiracy case brought by the feds in Ohio?

RezkoWatch may be onto a very interesting connection made by a RezkoWatcher.

He asks if it?s possible that Obama campaign contributors Zubair A. Ahmed ($500 on June 16 2004) and Khaleel Ahmed ($2000 June 16 2004) are the same two Chicago-based cousins who were indicted last year in a terrorist conspiracy scheme.

From Ohio?s U.S. Attorney?s office press release, which indicates the accused Ahmed cousins ? no longer held while waiting trial in March ? were both from the Chicago area, albeit different addresses in 2007 ?

Different addresses could mean the donors were different people and the defendants in the federal case are still awaiting trial, so they are presumed to be innocent.

Says RezkoWatch:

Whether they are or not, the Obama campaign should investigate this if they are not already aware of the possibly embarrassing situation.

It will be interesting to see if Hillary Clinton?s team jumps on the opportunity to dirty up the campaign in an attempt to stop Barack Obama?s primary momentum.
