What should a counrty do when thier Embassy is attacked?
 

Based on most laws in most countries, the Embassy belongs to the country that is based there. It is Sovereign Territory.

How should the country react.

Well it's attacked by individuals not by an army.....but I guess you could
invade the country again.....and this time finish it.....:disgust

If it's in a shit-hole country where it's main purpose is overseeing aid packages we should just leave.

I was thinking that they should send in a few hundred marines, and get our people out. Restrict travel to that country, and Stop all sales of goods/purchase of goods, as well as no aid for them.
Fuck them.

there is marines in every embassy in the world.. im not sure of their orders but one told me its not their job to protect the actual embassy, only the sensitive data inside of it.. so if they get raided, they protect the secret/sensitive stuff, evacuate it, and all the important people (presumedly protect all of the staff from harm and get them to safety)... i always figured the Marines would be lined up behind the fence busting caps into anyone who got over, but that doesnt seem to happen... ashame really, you'd think its ok to pop caps in the asses of ppl invading your country.. shrug

I think that its kind of the countries duty to provide some measure of security also. If I started attacking an embassy here I would be in a world a shit.

I say kill about a 1000 people give or take. Helicopter gun ships... coming in low out of the sun... morning day at the market. I mean they actually killed one person, and we've done so much for them, I'd say a 1000x1 is a good day.

I would say use spookies like in the evening, you know for effect. Those things look bad as fuck... but death is too sudden with the spookies, thus helicopter gunships. Helicopters have a much better 'terror' effect. Kind of like the terror the poor embassy workers must have felt.

Fabricate a reason to invade, bomb the fuck out of them, send in ground troops. Spend millions of dollars in tax payer money to parachute our president in and declare "mission accomplished". Sit back and what the chaos ensue.

Or better yet, maybe the people living in the country shouldn't be torching other country's embassies? Why not stay home, watch TV, maybe bake a pie or a nice batch of cookies instead of running through the streets like idiots, throwing molotov cocktails at property that doesn't belong to them?

I guess the risk of fighting back is the risk of starting a war against one building, which which seems very heavily tilted in favor of the rogue forces in the local country.

Every US Embassy has a small group of US Marines for protection, but this is really a small force and cannot handle hundreds of protestors. I'm sure they can bring a massive amount of firepower up to deal with situations quickly, but slaughtering innocent people isn't their primary purpose there.

Say what you want about US Marines, but they are highly disciplined and can show huge amounts of restraint when needed.....

Dont the U.S have one of the highest rates of killing friendlies? I know in recent wars in iraq and afghanistan they have killed quite a lot. Transcripts would show them as being anything but disciplined, more gun ho like rambo.
