I'm not a Yahoo expert.. From what I understand, it has been about 3 months, I think. Anyway, it has something to do with sub domains. Everything before a previous date stays listed, everything after that date, that is also a sub domain is no longer listed.

I did notice a drop in yahoo traffic but I think most of what I had was listed before the cut off date. I haven't noticed any full domain bans from this but I really don't check Yahoo that much.

i think what your talking about isn't related. the sites I checked were completely banned from yahoo. i never heard about that subdomain thing though, interesting, i have to check that out.

You gotta do some pretty crazy shit to get banned from Yahoo, in my opinion.

I look at this change as a spam clean up. They cut off sub domains, with a focus to clean up the listings since so many people were link spamming with ref codes across several sub domains.

Being so it's safe to assume that they would devalue the listings found from the sub domains that didn't make the cut. The domain wasn't banned just dropped until it's found through a root domain or allowed sub domain.
