It wasn't too hard to get VISA to force new regulations.
In fact there wasn't any kind of problems.

I'm sure that:

The Whitehouse is too busy with bigger things than porn,
so this was a very EFFECTIVE way to close down porn sites.
The number of paysites will decrease dramatically due to chargeback issue. This number is THE number which will be used to support the policy of the Whitehouse. Saddly the first impact is a little bit out of target... all small US processed but not US operated paysites. Or was it right on the target? They have just about eliminated the support ( 3rd party billing ) so ?

That's that.

However the new things will come. Sadly it will take time -
two years. The answer is next gen mobile phones. I have seen how this works and that is a very cool thing backed up by the biggest players on the earth such as Nokia. The user is able to load $$$ money in the phone and pay different things using the phone. It's like cash in your pocket, it's like debit card. It's going to spread accross retail and internet. And it WILL BE THE PREFECT way to PAY PORN! No VISA needed - if you succeed to live in the new envinronment long enough.
