Most of these high end bids were from people with a lot of good feedback, and The Donkey Show called a few of the over 1mill bidders who were big companies looking for exposure. Then the bids went over 2mill and people started to try to get it shut down. The auction was closed by ebay for violating their food policy. There may be an off ebay deal by tomorrow.
This auction hit CNN within a few hours, then went international shortly later. A lot of news stories with the big networks were planned that can not happen now due to some dumbass who was envious.
