I love my suv and hate my wifes tiny as vw diesel. The cost of gas means nothing to me, I would drive an suv either way. Maybe that's because I lived in Canada were gas is twice as expensive and the exchange rate would hit me too making it even more expensive.

My suv gets 21mpg and the wifes vw gets 42. Since diesel gas and oil cost more, it ends up costing just about the same to drive either car.

Oh the system is so f'ed up it's not funny.. When we first got the vw it was great... now that thay "tax" diesel drivers, it just isn't worth it.

I love driving my pickup truck and never complain about gas prices, If im going somewhere I gotta pay for the gas in a car or truck
