Microsoft is getting paid, don't doubt it.

Well today this happened to me twice allready:
typed www.google.com to the address bar and I was taken to MSN Search page where was link to www.google.com so I clicked it and it took me to google.com |
I made a post about this a while ago. Microsoft are skimming type in traffic. I have no doubt about it! The amount of times i've typed a url absolutely perfectly, and i've been taken to that page, are ridiculous!
You might notice, that sometimes it suggests a few other sites with similar domain names? Makes you wonder if those are PPC or something? |

"The amount of times i've typed a url absolutely perfectly .."
.. same here! it all started after the xp SP1 update ... |
take off the "friendly" error messages in ie, stops the crappy ms 404 errors and such too...

Resistance is futile.

Never happened to me, but then again I hardly ever use IE.

Tools: Internet Options: Advanced : Searching from the Address Bar : Do not search from the address bar
There is your fix. Brad |
