I've just started to receive comment spam as recently as last week (guess I'm lucky)

but I've had email addresses and new blogs created pointing to 21cn.com showing up for the last couple of months. i've done numerous exhaustive google searches with no answers. even with new blogs turned off they are still somehow able to create them...but not post content to them.

Just to name a few. Anyone have any clue?

And now that I look again at the overall picture I have dozens of new blogs. None of which have any content though.

basically, there was a script released today that actively seeks out wordpress mu installs and starts new blogs on them at a rate of 200 per hour

it just got released 2 hours ago and I am already seeing new blogs popping up with no content except links to other blogs on wordpress mu installs

it is crazy

Massive amounts of spam blogs are being created. Looks like I have 30 mostly pharmaceuticals and almost all populated with content. I just marked them all as spam.

I'm looking for an option to not approve blogs automatically but can't seem to find one. What the fuck!

a tool to mass create wpmu blogs is going to be released to all of the noob blackhats, which means wpmu is going to become extremely saturated.

Wow, glad my dumbass didnt know about mu and all 34 of my wordpress blogs are completely independent of each other lol. What the the advantages of MU? Maybe I'll try it when you arent all vulnerable to hacks.
