I dont know the rest of the story, since the national news has not to my knowledge reported on anything but the video. But I hope a bunch of people were fired immediately. No hearing is needed in this case.

Well then the jail should not need to investigate anything before simply firing everyone involved and turning it over to prosecutors I'd say. Hopefully thats close to what happened. I didnt say police or cops, but I always thought that county jails for example were still publically owned and operated. Shows how much I know, lol.

If a police officer was present, I would like to think that those privately hired jailers or whatever they are called, would be in cuffs before the end of the video.

I don't know if anyone had heard yet, but the bitch who did that has been charged with felony abuse. She was booked at the same police station she did it at.

I saw that guy interviewed on the Today show. Really fucked up situation and I'm glad that female officer got what she deserves. Its people like her who abuse their power and make it really easy to hate all cops.

Most police are good --but there are some dickheads and criminals in the ranks for sure, and I have encountered a few.

As a matter of pure damage control, police forces need to do more and constant training. And especially the public SERVANT part. Police enforce the laws that exist, they dont break them, dont create them, and dont act like they do. Everyone is always watching.
