Fling, Sexsearch, AFF, etc deserve the blame for all the tube/torrent bullshit

You cant stop tube and torrent sites thats for sure - if you crush one another 10 will pop up. But the advertisers on these sites seem to always be the same companies over and over again. Fling, sexsearch and of course AFF. I dont know how these companies can support sites like redtube and thepiratebay. They continuously provide funding to these sites, and the sites stay up and are able to pay their bandwidth bills. If youre going to bitch at all the copyrighted free porn thats being given away, bitch at the companies that keep these sites alive

Take away the monetary incentive for making tube sites and youve solved a lot of the problem

yep that's the truth - and a great % of the people bitching about illegal Tube sites are still doing business with those who give the illegal Tube sites their lifeline.

there's a way to stop them but nobody really wants to.

I've been pointing the finger at AFF/Cams as the cause for over a year now, they were the first and main sponsor on all of the top illegal tube sites.

Some people pull links, but if everyone would then most of these companies would have to change their ways. Not all of them get their traffic from in house. The majority of them rely on affiliates, without affiliates many of these sites would have to scale back big time to stay a float if they stayed in business at all. Thats why I say it is our fault. Affiliates don't realize the power they have collectively but individually 99% of them don't matter.

And people make it sound like if they switch to another sponsor they will lose 50% of their sales etc.. maybe you will lose a little, or maybe not. Talk to the person you want to switch to that is doing the right thing and work out a deal and see if they can pay you more.

In the future I am only going to work with sites that don't do business with theives. If you want to use spyware, profit from illegal content, fine, I will choose someone who doesn't to send my traffic to.

Why do we have to give away so much to get a new customer and sale? If we collectively kept things to a teasing level, we would be making the same as we all did in '99 :P

How about the se's stop showing them in searches?

'I dont know how these companies can support sites like redtube and thepiratebay' = they gain 'FREE' profiles to their sites from them.

I know one guy(high traffic site, tube related) who has a flate rate deal with AFF. So, everybody are happy.

How ironic we are posting on a board that advertises Aff Sexsearch and Fling:2 cents:

I am going to disagree here. I dont think they hold the blame entirely, if they didnt choose fling aff etc then they would get other firms and keep on going down the chain. How many independant dating sites out there? thousands probably, its just that they are the best.

So say aff stop advertising, what do they do? they go to the next best one, they may earn less, but still be funded. They would even if it came to it choose a dating company that has little or no affiliates or even start there own just go get money and theres no way none of us can stop them by not promoting them.

I guess what I am trying to say is, if one terminates, smaller companies will fill the gap.

Also as a side point saying we shouldnt promote them is pretty hard to understand. Didnt Wallmart advertise on the pirate bay? therefore we should not shop at wallmart? that makes me kinda fucked as my town is practically Asda which is owned by wallmart and if i want to pay double prices i could go to the local shop. Obviously not going to happen when I am a student. Also Wallmart contriubute greatly to the british economy with jobs and exports and imports, therefore should I be living in Britain? Ok im taking it to an extreme, but things to ponder.

Torrent sites are to blame. thats the way i see it anyway.
