do all traffic sites rip us off?
 

Hi All

Ive had two bad experiences so far when buying traffic. I was looking to buy some at adbuytraffic.com but saw a few posts here from others who had problems with them to....has anyone had a good experience buying traffic and if so, where from please?

Traffic to what site?

I have done $50ish tests with a few traffic brokers. This totals tens of thousands of hits. My sites convert their regular traffic at about 1:400... Guess how many sales from AdBuyTraffic, Choker, and AdultTraders.com? Zero. None. Zilch.

Yeah, we had that discussion before: general crap
traffic from traffic brokers doesnt do shit for
very specific niches like yours. That's obvious:
the chances a surfer with Gothic interest is warped
to your site is very.. very rare.

Doesnt mean traffic from those sources doesnt convert
at all..

We convert far better than that with some very mainstream traffic. Amateur traffic was our bread and butter for the first year. We still get quite a bit. Other general traffic (bondage, softcore, cam, etc.) makes up far more of our traffic than gothic sources.

Go ahead and check out my sites, they aren't so goth that mainstream viewers don't enjoy them. Seriously. I get the feeling your judgement is based on my username more than actual experience.

AdultTraders are defenetly better than adbuytraffic.
Anyway, you have to know how to manage your traffic.
It's a good idea to feed your trades with this traffic.

Our best site overall is also the best for general traffic... GothicAmateur.com.

I agree. Ian's sites are great, and can do well with mainstream traffic.

check my SIG - I used them for Babe, Teen , Hardcore Unique traffic to my TGP and it was VERY productive, lots of Bookmarkers !

I can't tell you anything on the other sites, but for ADBUYTRAFFIC, DANGER DANGER DANGER DANGER!!!

I was a first timer on buying traffic and bought 10000, over 7 day s with them. By the 5th day, my logs showed 202 from their server. Then I posted here and everyone agreed that they suck and I was another one of the suckers to go with them. ADBUYTRAFFIC uses hitbots which is almost the same thing as hitting refresh to your website 10,000 times. SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR SOMEBODY BETTER.

Gothweb this has been discussed to death. I can't speak for the other two guys you bought from, but you bought traffic skimmed from my TGP. This was a one time thing I tried and failed at. Skimming from a TGP's gallery listings directly to a paysite does not work. I tried it, it didn't work so I went on and tried other ways of selling more and different kinds of traffic. I didn't give up just because one thing did not work, I kept trying new things every day and NEVER gave up. As a result I am now brokering over 5 million clicked hits a day. So buying traffic must be working out for a lot of webmasters, don't you think????
You seem to have it out for traffic brokers. $50ish tests is NOTHING. The key is trying new things every single day until you get the right formula.

I've bought traffic from loads of different sources and Choker is definitely one of the best. I just wish he could send me more! :)
