Anyone still buy adult stories? Plus a few q's.
 

I'm just wondering if people still buy adult stories. I am currently in the process of writing one. It should be done very soon. So far it's over 3,200 words, 4 pages and 13k+ characters (not including spaces). I would say it'll finish up with any where from 4,000 - 5,000 words. Now, onto my questions.

Is this story too long? Is it long enough?

Is a longer story better?

I've never really sold an adult story before. I have worked in titling + long descriptions, though. I know the rate in that work is pretty decent but I am not very sure about stories. I've heard 0.03 - 0.05 per word. Is this still the ongoing rate for stories? When you sell the story for that rate, are you selling the story exclusively to that person?

Any help or guidance will be appreciated. I'm just hoping to get educated about the selling of adult stories. I like moolah and I enjoy writing. I'm just hoping there will be a future in this for me.

It isnt somethig we deal with - but I would guess thats its more of a quantity thing.

Good stories that get people off. I dont think one very good story is going to make you rich.

You need to knock out 1 or 2 a day.

I often hit the story groups to get off - even with 1000s of vids at my fingertips.

The really deep stuff dosnt do it for me.... I just need a new fantasy every so often.

I'm not really trying to get rich off of stories. I could maybe do one or two a day but right now I am also testing the waters. I could see what you're saying about the quantity thing. Does anyone else agree? Is quantity more important?

I've had many members write me stories for my site, in return, I give them free membership. It's a win win. Plus, the members are already into to same stuff that the sites about, so the stories fit.
