i'm no expert but i'd say dedicated. :)

lolz, is this question for real? It totally depends on what you need. Virtual hosting is for starters with low traffic, and once your traffic grow you need dedicated server.

Well of course it depends on the use. Dedicated is always going to be better but if you don't need that many resources it can be over kill.

You can start out on virtual then upgrade to dedicated as you expand your business, thats what I did.

It's like asking which one was better - Chevy Cavalier or Mercedes CLK 550? We'd be comparing apples to oranges because these two are not in the same league. You need to ask yourself what it is you want to host and what kind of server performance will be necessary to keep your sites up and make your surfers happy. If virtual host is sufficient for your needs, then you most likely don't need to go for dedicated which could be an overkill.

Virtual for smaller accounts and traffic (see sig), dedicated for large traffic.
