teengfs.com owner thinks it's ok if he has a bonus section containing embeds all of the stolen videos on Megarotica that he got using a scraper..

It's fairly straightforward, I think: it's the same as embedding a youtube vid - you don't own the license to those either.
Essentially, it boils down to this. We're a legit operation, I've put in over a year's work in prerelease. 5 months ago everyone on GFY was chuckling over the fact that megarotic doesnt hitlink protect videos, and were embedding them everywhere to take their bw.
It is what it is, really.

I'm telling you this much.. just because you are scraping the videos off megarotic, doesn't mean it's not posting the videos illegally from other producers, bangbros guys are gonna DMCMA you as soon as they see the thread and you will have every content producer stick your site on their watchlist to give notice.

Why bother with the stolen bonus video page at all if the rest of your content is legit? It's a bad biz decision

I only ever try to be honest and upfront in what I do, good or bad. If 6 years of reputation is gonna be flushed by this, I'll have to live with it. Doesn't make me happy, but I can't change what's done :)

Me: You can't scrape content off Megarotica and use it as Bonus videos in your member section. The videos you have posted are from producers like me, Bangbros, TCG, Lightspeed etc...

that's the basic arguement here.

Just remove it from your paysite and the other sites you are pulling em from, and you will be fine.

Why not just remove the filler content that you don't have a license for? Seems like that would be the simple, easy way to fix things.

All I wanted to establish was that it was my intentions and standings on the issue of ripped content, which I think are important :)

I see where you're coming from, and it does make sense. What doesn't make sense would be to put your new site/program in jeopardy like that.

If those sites weren't loaded with "stolen" content, your idea would have been a good one for sure.

What the screenshots don't show is the fact that that's just one page in the member's area, as opposed to the dozens of others. If people walk away with the impression that our member's area is nothing but pillaged photos, that'd be unfortunate.

I think just the potential of having someone elses content in your member's area is enough to knock the train off the rails. Better safe than sorry.

The problem is that webmasters are pretty much expecting the content on a typical "user submitted" site to be stolen, so they're going to pick over everything they can to find a smoking gun. You left a big target right there in the form of that one page. :2 cents:
