Try ZeroNico it works, and worth every cent :winkwink:

mortenb 02-16-2008 08:16 AM

I used a nicotine inhaler during the first month. Other than that I didn't do anything. In 3 days it will be 5 months since I last had a cigarette! :)

VicD 02-16-2008 08:29 AM

I just stopped 4 years ago, one of the best decisions i've ever made :)

Go see your doctor and ask him/her about Chantix (chantix.com). I tried cold turkey, patches, and a few other things but nothing worked. Chantix worked for me and it worked great. No cravings or that "OMG I need a cig now" feeling in your chest...

Threw them away before I went to sleep, and woke up with a 9 hour head start. From there it was will power for three days, then so on and so on. Had to stop drinking coffee, and changed other life style habits.

I'll second this. Chantix definitely helps by taking away the physical cravings, but... you have to WANT to quit. Nothing will work if you truly do not want to quit.

I am, and the secret is in water! Every time you want to fire one just drink water and smash every cigarette near you, and that is it! 10 mounts without smoking now, and I don't have a need now!
Sorry for my bad English! :)

Spunky 02-27-2008 09:10 PM

Save a jar full of butts and inhale deeply a few times when you crave one..you'll ralph before you light one up

MasterKeyword 02-27-2008 09:12 PM

smoking friends come over all the time, and think theyre funny when they find out i quit smoking, they are so weak they go, want a cigarette? and light one up in front of you, after a month you can care less and realize what a sick habit it was, and boy how smokers reak... lol

you do get bored alot though, over time you learn to think about naked chicks or somethign instead of reaching for the smokes

I quit smiking weed 3 weeks ago. It took nearly a miracle. I heard quitting nicotine is much harder though.

wow thats strangely like me:Oh crap:thumbsup

I quit november 12th last year, so coming up to 4 months now...

I'm still on the nicorette inhalers tho, I was a very heavy smoker before, a pack and a half a day...so getting off these things will take me a little time...but as said already in the thread, one of the best (and hardest) things I have ever done.

I still crave them now all the time, giving up is very very fucking hard :321GFY

Try these guys http://www.matrixlasercenters.com

No side effects no pain and no drugs. Results are topping 85% which beats all other methods combined. The only thing you need is to be committed to quitting, stay away from alcohol for a few weeks take a few vitamins and drink a shit load of water. If you can do that with this treatment it's a walk in the park. Withdrawal symptoms are almost completely eradicated. Only problem is there are very few places open in the USA and this one is running under an FDA IRB ( which is short for Trials ) ( thats why it only cost $400, I know that went its given the all clear the price will go up to what they charge in the UK and Europe $2000.00 or more.)

Its been used in the UK and Canada for more than 30 years without any reported side effect other than the fact it stops you smoking !! :thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup

There are TV commercials from Lawyers asking people who took this drug to call them because of all the side effects. You dont need more drugs in your body you need less :error:error
