Yahoo Search Marketing > Anyone have campaigns removed all the sudden today?

Like an hour ago I recieve e-mails that all my campaigns are taken offline. They've been approved for weeks now and all the sudden removed.

This happen to anyone else today?

a company is selling out thus removing all traces of innappropriate material in the eyes of many external "investors"

I thought that Yahoo said no to the sale.

Last i heard they said no to microsofts 46 billion or whatever it was say $31 underestimated their company, which i chuckle about.. i been dreaming of the day yahoo crumbles, here it is, im enjoying this..

they robbed me on 2 purchases and even charged a credit card that had expired and i never used that company or card ever again, and I found on collections later they charged me $200 for directory service on a domain i didnt even own anymore.

the other time i plopped down $250 on their goto PPC crap when they took over, after signing up and paying, i could never log it, could never find a number to call, could not even get an email sent to me, nor did i ever got a reply from the 35 emails i sent to various departments.... Totalyl forgot about that... i should try and get it lol after they sell

Did they give you a reason for taking your campaign's offline? Did you call their 800 number to find out why your campaign's were pulled?

Only times it ever happened too me was when Amex wouldn't let the charges go through without the merchant(yahoo) contacting them to confirm. Obviously Yahoo doesn't do that and it happened too me about 6 more times before I managed to get it straightened out with Amex.

I've talked to them a couple of times today and they said there have been some technical glithces this week. It might have been a system problem and not intentional.

It still makes me mad because the ads have been approved for weeks and should not have gone down.

Now I'm waiting for them to go back up again as they are supposed to...

anyone else go through this nightmare today?

WiredGuy 02-15-2008 08:29 PM

I've had this problem when they do their systematic review of accounts and want new passwords. Its a never ending battle with these idiots.

Yahoo has had plenty of glitches. It's the same old, whenever they (or most companies) fuck something up, it's called a "glitch". After a few hundred, it's better defined as incompetence.

In any event, since someone mentioned it, for all their negatives and their failing business plan version 16.7, I really hope they stay in business without selling out to MSN or anyone else. The last thing the search market needs is even more convergence!

They are supposed to be getting them back online but still off since 1:00pm today.

Anyone have any luck with the MSN ppc traffic thus far for adult campaigns? I haven't tried them yet.

D Ghost 02-15-2008 10:51 PM

HXMGP 02-16-2008 06:58 AM

MSN doesn't take adult campaigns.
