Hosting Recommendations -Joomla + CiviCRM

I am creating a website for a small local business that needs to run Joomla and CiviCRM.

He will have 2 domains at the most, requires a dedicated ip, and not a lot of traffic.

Is there a small virtual hosting company I can install this with? I had him try webair but it seemed to be timing out and they said I could not do it on the virtual account.

Other System Requirements::
? PHP 5.x :
? MySQL 5.0.x or higher with INNODB support

Other troubleshooting steps I may need:
Ability to increase max_execution_time to 600 and memory limit to more than 32M (even if just for the install)
To turn open_basedir off, add this to your vhost.conf file: php_admin_value open_basedir none or ask your host to either turn it off or ensure that it is not preventing access to required directories.

Anyone, I am open to suggestions.

Thanks

For PHP 5, we would have to set you up manually on a virtual box that offers both PHP4 / PHP5 .

What kind of cost would I be looking at?

And I will be able to install these two, correct?

Feel free to ICQ me.

Good luck with that search but from what I understand after asking our administrators about your request, your requirements are not going to work well with most shared environments. That being the case if you decide to try a dedicated server please hit me up directly. Here is our most recent special; Caro.Net's Valentine Special!

Ah okay - I thought something like CiviCRM would be a little more friendly.

Hopefully someone can help me out.

if you are going to run that kind of software, i would really recommend a dedicated box.

If you haven't already checked into Cavecreek CDN, I would suggest it. Users will get the content faster, increasing your customer satisfaction level and it goes through the same network CCBill has been using for years. We'll help you out with whatever you want to use for software.

Check the sig for details and contact info. We'll even give you a 2 week trial to see how you like it.

I'm pretty sure phatservers.com and hosthead.com can do it for you. I don't think you need a dedicated for that. I've had much more installed on a cheap virtual HostHead account with no problems and I plan on inxtalling more than that on my new phatservers virtual account.

I recommend you talk to Sly from Phatservers (147479144) or Brad Mitchell from Mojohost (56950199).

I can give it a look and see what I can do. I do have some cheap dedicated servers available right now that you may want to consider for a variety of reasons. Feel free to ICQ me at 147479144 and we can discuss a couple different options.

I'm going to them up. I don't think, or didnt really think I needed a ded. Some other CiviCRM installers say bluehost.com will let you do it.

But we shall see. This is just for a small company.
