I was out today and saw a lot of people buying stuff for valentines day, but how did you do?

Luckily (in a way) this girl i am seeing got really sick today and we are going to get together tomorrow, so i get sweet deals on the "day after" sales :winkwink:

Ive only been seeing this girl for like a month and half so i sent her a dozen roses to her work (which she'll see tomorrow) then i have two dozen (1 1/2 red and 1/2 doz white) sitting right here waiting for her. as well bought her some nice chocolate candies and some smelly candles and shit from the mall.

I brought my girl a new computer lol how romantic, and I got nothing so far lol...

I find roses to cliche, she is not a big fan of chocolates, and stuffed animals are well overdone.

Had to trade in some very nice rough opals to get the saphires but oh well, she already has opals.

We went to dinner at a nice sushi joint, hit an Irish pub for music and a glass of Macallan 18, and home for some "alone time".

Me and my new girl havent been going out for very long, and she lives a couple hours away... so I had roses and 4 bottles of cabernet delivered. Apparently it was a good idea, she's been in a great mood ever since.

I bought foo fighters tickets. She loved it!

The necklace I did order was out of stock so I just bought her a dinner. ;-)
