In my free time I belong to a recipe website that has a pretty high membership. Today the site dared to change their layout and you should hear these middle aged women bitch...'it hurts my eyes, these colors are horrible, etc'. They have been non-stop bitching for about 12 hours now. Sound familiar? Mainstream is just as bitchy.

Ha..I am not popular there with some of them at the moment because I dared to point out that I understood why the site would be trying to make some money off of their free surfers (they also have a subscription option that takes away banners, etc) by adding more places for them to click. The old ladies went insane on me on how every page with a banner on it on the entire of the internet makes money just by the page loading. I said that that wasn't true and now I am the capitalist devil.

I know,it's hard to have desing which will work good on anyone.For example,when i testing several skins for my board,one member said it's good,other not.So i changed it,then it was good for other but bad for first one.It's impossible to have perfect design.

Actually this current skin is quite inoffensive, especially when compared to some of the monstrosities that have been here before.

Yes but I'm sure they weren't in another thread 5 minutes earlier talking about how they'd kick someone's ass if they ever cut in front of them in line, or looked at them funny.

GFY'ers are particularly cute because of how many talk so freely about how e-tough they are, and then the skin changes and their next post is about how their fragile little eyes are in so much pain over the colour white.

Actually, another reason I find it funny is that being middle aged and American many of them make a big deal about being Christian in their profiles and such. Right up until a font changes and then they have mouths like truckers.
