Terminator I or Terminator II? Which one was best?
 

I find it hard to decide, for T1 was my favourite until I saw T2, now I can't make up my mind. What do you think? :thumbsup

T2 was the best action movie of all time.

T2 is the best. It has more humor.

t2 screwed up a perfect story line of t1

t1 was based on a pre-destination paradox the time traveling event created the future that wa trying to prevent.

the t2 ending screwed up the entire franchise which is why t3 sucked so bad
because they had to waste so much of the movie on trying to get back on track to justify why another terminator was comming from the future.


t2 ending made no sense, if sky net was prevented then john conner would never have been born. It was a reverse grandfather paradox.

T2. It blew my mind when I first saw it. Wow! Most expensive movie ever in those days.

What you say about the t2 ending is true, but you should see it from the other end...the filmmakers wanted to make the 3rd episode (and they did) so they couldn't end t2 without happy ending.

see that ending didn't make any sense either becuase if judgment day never came about, skynet would never send the terminator to kill sarah and kyle reese would never have been sent to protect sarah.

Which in turn means john conner would never have been born.


they should have written a middle story (like the fan fiction one i wrote) that kept the predesdination paradox alive.

t2- should have been a t3 movie about judgement day, without extra trying to get back on track bs.

It's got to be T2. Honestly, it was the first rated R movie I ever watched. My mom was strict with that kind of stuff when I was a kid.

Terminator was this great little sci-fi thriller with good acting and an engaging plot
T2 had amazing effects and great action setpieces

For me, the first one has just a little more re-watch value, so I'd probably give it a slight nod ahead of T2, ut both were pretty damn good films and I even liked T3, though it was very much the lesser of the series.

T2, the story line is just as good as T1, but the effects were a LOT better in T2! T3 shouldn't have been made

they are different, not voting....... both are great, made in different special effects era´s also T3

Hard to come down for one or the other. T1 was amazing when it came out. But T2 was I think a bit better.
I think maybe tonight might be a good night to do some back to back movie watching. ;)

Personally I love T1 for the depth of story. T2 had way better effects and added some backstory. I can't choose!

T1 was awesome and an unbelievable product for under $7million.

Nothing wrong with T2 either apart from Edward Furlong acting sometimes errs on the amateurish side quite frequently. $102million budget of T2 clearly ballooned because of the new cutting edge cgi and effects that weren't available in T1's time.

Thank god they scrapped that. That was horrible.

T1: Arnie kills everyone and anything he can, drives a car into a police station, rips a guys heart out of his chest, shoots a 20 Minute Workout girl in the back and takes out his own eye with an exacto knife.

T2: Arnie is ordered not to kill anyone by a teenage brat.

Hmm.
I'll take the original by a long shot. Anyone who voted T2 must have been in love with the special effects ... "Ewww, a guy melting and reforming. Coooool!"

Both were very good!

T1 was choppy and slow in parts, whereas T2 was non-stop exciting action.

The special effects in T2 totally blew me away at the time...

I actually have a life-size chrome Terminator head sitting on my TV in my bedroom, as well as a print of Arnold as a battle-damaged Terminator, hand-signed by him, 1 of only 500. The eyes in the head light up when you press a button and it plays the Terminator theme.

I just realized I am somewhat of a nerd.

Loved T1, T2, and T3. I've been watching the new Sarah Conner Chronicles on FOX, and have been enjoying it.

Definitely T2.

Well yea T2 is probaly better for most people beacuse of special effects.I dont see anything wrong with that since not much movies have so good special effects.One of best scenes in movie when liquid terminator jumped on fat cop in hospital raising from floor.
