Who here has ever worked at McDonalds?
 

Im just curious, because from what i could understand it wasnt uncommon at all for people to work at mcdonalds years ago. For a summer job or a part time job and it wasnt shameful or anything,

But now times have changed and no one works there unless you are a highschool drop out or on probation.

So who here has ever worked there and what years if you dont mind me asking

I worked at dairy queen for 4 days when I was 15... I begged the guy for the job cause my parents told my lazy ass to go do something instead of sitting around playing C&C red alert all day.

I fucking hated customers and their stupid custom orders. Someone had the nerve to ask to put the pickles on the BOTTOM of the burger. I just lost it and quit.

Found a job at a top 50, worked my way up from CS to a manager, and well here I am7 years later.

you should be asking who here still works at McDonalds ; )

My girlfriends family owed 2 Mcdonalds on the south side of Chicago back in the day. That's about as close as I come.

pffffff...not a proud time for me but I worked there for a summer when I was 15. really not too many jobs you can get when you are 15 and I quit on my 16th birthday.

and yes it was as terrible as you imagine and I did gain about 15 lbs. to this day I am overly polite to all fast food workers. they take way more shit than they ever deserve plus if you're an asshole you have about a 75% chance of getting your food fucked with.

thought about it, dont see what the big shame about it is, if you can work your way to the top who cares, lady i know started working there at 16, is now regional manager of about 3 counties, comapny car, $120,000 a year doing pretty dam well.

I tried getting a job at McDonalds about 15 years ago but at the time my hair was down to my waist so they wouldn't fucking hire me. :1orglaugh

Never worked there, but I have had my share of low paying crappy jobs.

There is no dishonor to working at McDonalds.

I especially admire people who start modestly and achieve more.

Never worked in fast food. I've eaten a lot of McD's and bought Happy Meals out the ying yang for my son - does that count? :)

See that is the point of my threat, i dont feel like people feel the same way anymore.

In the past mcdonalds was a common first job, but now it is more a full time job.
